Frequently asked

How do I improve my table tennis technique?+

Consistent practice on the right things. In private sessions we diagnose your weakest stroke, drill it with multiball, then integrate it into open rallies. Most students see a clear jump within 4–6 focused sessions.

How long until I see progress as a beginner?+

After 3–4 sessions you’ll own a basic forehand, backhand, push, and a usable serve. After 8–10 you can play structured rallies and basic match patterns.

What should I bring?+

Indoor sport shoes, comfortable sportswear, water, and your own bat if you have one. Loaner bats are available for first sessions.

Do you coach in English or Dutch?+

Both — fluently. Many of my students are internationals living in Amsterdam.

Do you coach kids and teens?+

Yes, from roughly 8 years old. Sessions are technical but playful, with steady progression toward club play.

What counts as 'intermediate'?+

You play comfortably in rallies, have a working topspin from both wings, and can serve with at least two different spins. If you’re between levels, I’ll evaluate after your first session.
